Located in NW Washington, Shaw has become very popular over the past years. Several new construction projects are slated for Shaw and businesses and restaurants have taken notice. Shaw is now home to many unique boutique shops, great nightlife, and popular restaurants, including Shaw's Tavern, Nellie's Sports Bar, Lincoln Theatre, Howard Theatre and the historic Ben's Chili Bowl, a favorite for President Obama and Bill Cosby, and most District residents too.
One of the largest neighborhoods in DC, Shaw includes small enclaves like the U-Street Corridor, LeDroit Park, Truxton Circle and others, which all have their own distinct character, appearance, history and charm.
